Concept :

1)Project aim

The project consist to create a massively online rpg game who can be played online or offline.
The game will be an heroic - phantasy game with many links with mythologies ( with the creature and monsters issued from it), and inspirated architectures from it , but a trying to make also something new.
Each gamer can create his own personnage with the help of the characeter assistant designer.
Gamers can form groups like clan ,legion or civilisation
It's depend of how many player are regrouped.
The most important with the group , it's to force games to play in cooperation.

1.1)online gaming

these will be an action rpg gameplay system with abilities depending of the level and the job
all the character seen in the game will be players character expect the creatures and monsters
the story will be more complicated than the offline story because all players can interfer with it

1.2)offline gaming

these will be an action rpg gameplay system with abilities depending of the level and the job
all character will be controled by the computers , and a typical story depending of the action that the player do ( i will explain later )

1.3)the story

is devided in 3 area at this time
- dongeon where the boses attacs and the dongeon map will change each time you go in it the is a limited number of player who can enter in a dongeon , and the player can communicate only with the player in the dongeon not with the playes outside
- castle , fortress and town where there is an influence with story ( more details next time )
- the world map , as you can imagine creatures leave in this world before the comming in this world and they have their own theotory , if you enter in it there you will be attacked , and many others species lives in the world like horse , and you can make them ready for ridder ......

2)character characteristics

The player play the character he have created with the assistant, He have to chose his job ( warrior, knight, mercenary ,thief,dealer,Magus,magician,wizard,archer )
Some jobs will only be available when the player reach a certain level.
Duels are authorized , but there is some rules, the conditions are the level difference between the two characters isn't to important,
The duel is only authorized if the players are agreeing that duel.

2.1)character assistant designer

It will help the basic player to create his own cheracter , but for expiremented one , the charcter disgner can help to make a very specific character design , this assistant will be derived from the designers tools made for the game.

3)battle mode

The battle mode will be in reel time , and not turn base,
The battle will be won only with some strategy.
The enemies don't attack the characters who don't have the level to probably won the battle.
The is some areas in the world of the game where this rules aren't respected.
Before player goes in these areas , the character will be averted of the danger.
If the character died , the player will resume is the game at the last check point or the last city visited.
All that will be done after the last last check point will be void.
If the character died in a duel , the winner can chose one object of the loser or some money.
The loser will be reanimated , less the winner have take.

4)clan

they can be creates from the moment there at least 3 players who wish it (that will be accessible by the menu, the player wish to form a clan will have to be in the same area , if an external player wants to join the clan, a vote decide if player is accepted or not in the clan).
The players who are in a clan are closely dependent , each point of experience earned, some experiences point will be given to others members of the clan.

5)Legions

To form a legion it is necessary to be at least 20 (this number is to give as an indication) a legion according to its importance will be able to build a fortress, who will be able to shelter all the members of the legion.
The ground who will be builds the fortress will have to be conquered, with this intention this is necessary to kill all the monsters of the area in a limited time , once the area is conquered it will have to be protected from the attacks outside, and the legion will have the right to make pay a right-of-way to any player who ventures in it.

6)civilization

To form a civilization it is necessary to be at least 200, this civilization can build a city or fortress, to be done it will be necessary to conquer a territory.
Civilization have an advantage compared to the legions because it can unlock technology (which enable to have new weapons, and creates new jobs)
This civilization will be able to rear animals such as horses and allow knights to become riders and to be definitely more powerful.
The chief of civilization will be elected for a certain a time.
it will be responsible for the stock management, of the prosperity of civilization, the relationships to other civilization.

7)resources

Dismaying the resources such as water, wood, iron, gold, they will be to dissimulate everywhere in the world.
The one who find a resource , he have to defend it if he want to be the unique recipient.
certain resources are not inexhaustible.

8)prosperity

Concerning the prosperitee of the cities , wars can take place for various reason, but a city or a fortress which is destroyed, the only thing to do is to rebuild , but isn't free.
A city or a fortress can be to attacked by creatures or monsters if you to encroach on their territory or if you have tendency to exterminate them.

9)appendix

little precision aim isn't to copy an existing game ,but to try to bring something new to game.
It will be necessary to create a 3d engine which will turn under OPENGL 1.4 or superior
The game will plate form independent
